Great experience food was delicious. Bartender and cooking staff were hilarious and fun. We didn't play but there was a pool table. And plenty of t.v.s to watch sports on

Stopped by Salvation Pizza on Rainey Street while visiting Austin and had such a great experience. The pizza was amazing, the parmesan fries were so good, and the atmosphere was definitely a vibe. Big shoutout to Tony and Amber behind the bar they were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Great energy, great customer service, and definitely a spot we’d come back to when visiting Austin again.

Disregard those 1-star people, I can’t imagine them being regulars. When I say this is a favorite place of mine, I mean it. We’re always greeted with a larger than life smile from Tony and the crew. He is by far the kindest and most genuine person you’ll come across on Rainey street. He knows no strangers and we always leave with a great experience, great dual-time happy hours (3-6pm & 9-11pm), perfect pizza environment, weekly trivia on Wednesdays and Bingo on Thursdays, and I could go on and on. It’s chill, they play sports and have an amazing frozen variety of adult bevs and taps and everything. Go see the whole crew there and you’ll walk away with a good experience and a new friend.

TLDR: this restaurant doesn’t care about quality, eat somewhere else. I ordered boneless wings, fries, and a Greek salad for delivery. I received a Greek salad with red and green peppers instead of banana peppers, fries that were bland and dry like they’d been sitting out forever — and I legit got fast food chicken nuggets instead of boneless wings! They were the same boot-shape as McDonald’s nuggets. And oh ubereats refused to do anything about the fact that a restaurant is falsely advertising on their app.

I wanted a quick lunch and continue the day I ordered just 2 slices of pizza and water. after i wait 15 minutes the waitress came and said she was sorry and the order would take another 10-12 minutes and said that the bill was on the house today, after another 15 minutes I asked if is coming and she said "almost#, finally after 37 minutes my food is arrive( 2 pizza slices one is only cheese and the second with pepperoni) I forgot to mention that the restaurant was empty and I was the only customer. The pizza is very thin and the cheese feels like synthetic cheese. the slice with the pepperoni looked a little poor (the entire middle was actually without pepperoni). I didn't like the taste of the pizza and didn't finish. At least they were honest and the bill was on the house but I won't back again and I don't recommend this place.
